‘Game of Thrones’ Star Sophie Turner Gets Sporty In Revealing Photo Shoot

Sansa Stark has been dealt a couple bad hands during her long running stint on Game of Thrones, but it appears things are not only looking up for the character, but for the rising starlet who plays her. 

When she’s not a regular player of the fictional Winterfell, actress Sophie Turner can be seen as the increasingly powerful telepath Jean Grey in the latest installment to the X-Men series, X-Men: Apocalypse.

During her recent sporty cover shoot with Self Magazine, Sophie admits that it wasn’t too difficult shifting through the world of fantasy.

 “Both Jean and Sansa are strong characters with such great arcs,” Turner said. “Neither starts out strong, but they find that power within them, whether literally or metaphorically.”

Well, said, Sophie. And we’re totally feeling the athleisure vibe of the Self shoot. Who would have thought that we’d ever see Sansa Stark in a crop top and holding a skateboard? 

Not that we’re complaining.
