Take Your First Look at the Batsuit in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”

Last night Warner Bros. held a mass screening at select IMAX theaters for a slightly extended teaser trailer for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” (Yes, a screening for a trailer — what a time to be alive.) The diehard fans who turned up were rewarded with free tickets to see the movie a week before its release date in Spring 2016.

For the rest of us who didn’t trek out to a movie theater to check out a trailer, director Zack Synder tweeted out a photo of the full suit that Ben Affleck will be wearing in the movie. This Batman’s sartorial direction is decidedly more lo-fi, closer to the comic book versions than Christian Bale’s. On the plus side, at least it doesn’t have protruding nipples.
