Taylor Swift is playing out a sexy sci-fi fantasy in the music video for "...Ready For It?"
The 15-second clip looks more like a movie trailer than a teaser for Reputation's second single. Swift is shown cloaked in black before she harnesses the power of a magical blue orb and reveals a skin-tight cybernetic body suit.
Chants of "let the games begin" and intense synth hits build viewers up to an epic battle.
Alas, TayTay leaves us on a cliffhanger. The full music video drops Thursday.
While the pop star took aim at Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in "Look What You Made Me Do," the lyrics for "...Ready for It" seem to tell the tale of a dark, twisted romance.
"But if he's a ghost, then I can be a phantom/Holdin' him for ransom/Some, some boys are tryin' too hard/He don't try at all, though/Younger than my exes but he act like such a man, so/I see nothing better, I keep him forever/Like a vendetta-ta."
Yikes. Good luck to that guy.
