Watch: The Lonely Island Movie Trailer Takes Dead Aim at Justin Bieber

“It takes a village to make me look dope.”

The long-awaited feature film from The Lonely Island comedy trio (Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone) is finally coming soon, along with half of Hollywood’s top comedians.

The mockumentary Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, takes dead aim at the egoism surrounding manufactured pop stars like Samberg’s Conner4Real, who sees himself as a rival to Justin Bieber (who the movie seems intended to mock, specifically). Sarah Silverman stars as one of Conner’s handlers, and an array of characters come in and out of the singer/rapper’s inner circle of “agreeable” folks (people who are on his payroll). Look for cameos from Bill Fader, Carrie Underwood, Usher, and Joanna Newsom (Samberg’s wife).
