Here’s Every Stanley Kubrick Reference From ‘The Simpsons’ In One Incredible Supercut

This is just amazing.

If you’re a fan of The Simpsons, you’ve probably noticed a reference or two to Stanley Kubrick movies—blood gushing from an elevator can only be a nod to The Shining—but until a French genius by the name of Candace Druet created this mashup of all The Simpsons scenes taken directly from Kubrick movies, we had no idea the extent of his influence on the long-running series.

If you’ve seen The Simpsons parody episode “The Clockwork Yellow,” you’ll recognize a lot of these references to Alex and his droogs, but there are more subtle influences from The Shining and Full Metal Jacket that you might have missed. And mad props to Druet for creating this totally enlightening distraction.
