Top TV Picks of the Week: The Daily Show, The Soup, and More

This week, we’re ending Thanksgiving with the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, The Daily Show, and The Soup. Check out what to watch this week!

What do Betty White, The Daily Show, and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show all have in common? Nothing whatsoever. However, this week on TV, we get to watch our favorite things: Girls strutting in their underwear, biker bars–stellar whiskey, biker gangs, biker babes, and general bike banter– AND Betty White.

Monday, Nov. 28

10:00 p.m. Rizolli & Isles (TNT)

Not only does this show sound like some sort of tasty pasta dish, this cop procedural–which, sadly, has nothing to do with Italian cuisine–features two other delicious options: Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander. As if that weren’t enough to get you salivating for tonight’s season two premiere, which features the lady sleuths investigating the shooting of a community activist, is also serving up a guest appearance by Roselyn Sanchez.

Tuesday, Nov. 29

10:00 p.m.Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (CBS)

Since there are no adequate words to describe the annual gift that is the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show–which this year features the likes of sexy supermodels such as Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr, Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes, Erin Heatherton, and Lindsay Ellingson walking down a runway in their skivvies–we’ll just say reactions to the televised dream come true tends to look a little something like this.

11:00 p.m. The Daily Show (Comedy Central)

Cool off from watching the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show by watching Betty White trade barbs with Jon Stewart during her visit to The Daily Show to promote the upcoming season of her hit TV Land show Hot in Cleveland. Oh, who are we kidding? The lingerie special is really just the warm-up for this, it’s always all about Betty.

Wednesday, Nov. 30

9:00 p.m. Full Throttle Saloon (truTV)

Take all the fun of biker bars–stellar whiskey, biker gangs, biker babes, general bike banter–and take out the risk of getting killed by some bearded guy named Tiny Tim (you see, it’s ironic, because he’s not tiny and he will eat your soul), and you’ve got Full Throttle Saloon. The third season of the reality series, which is all about Michael Ballard’s bitchin’ biker bar of the same name located in South Dakota, kicks off tonight. We’re still hoping and waiting for a Sons of Anarchy crossover though, as the SAMCRO could do some serious damage in the world’s biggest biker bar considering they do damage pretty much everywhere else they go.

10:00 p.m. The Soup (E!)

Oh here go hell come, The Soup is moving from Fridays to Wednesdays. While NBC unjustly benched Joel McHale’s other hilarious show Community (Jackee, what do you have to say about that?) he’ll still be doing all of his awesome pop (pop!) culture skewering on E!, just now on hump day. Oprah, what do you have to say about all that?

Thursday, Dec. 1

10:00 p.m. Weed Wars (Discovery)

This new documentary series about the medicinal marijuana business chronic-les (see what we did there?!) a dispensary in Oakland. It should be infinitely more entertaining then when you make two bongs fight each other. Or will it? (Seriously, we really don’t know. We did and then we totally spaced.)

What To Skip

Saturday, Dec. 3

9:00 p.m. Invasion of the Christmas Lights 3 (TLC)

Don’t let the title fool you, this is not about a string of zombie Christmas lights that come to life and attack carolers. (Though it should be. Take note, Syfy network, we would watch that in a heartbeat.) Instead, it’s just a series about annoying people who go overboard with their outdoor Christmas lights. Remember how entertaining that was in movies like Deck the Halls and Christmas with the Kranks? That’s right, you don’t, because you’re not a completely awful human being. When it comes to over-the-top decorators, we’re with the guy on the left.
