Dance Like Your Drunk Dad in the Toronto Raptors ‘Hotline Bling’ Booth
It’s Drake night in the 416.
Officially, the Toronto Raptors mascot is menacing red velociraptor that looks like Barney’s intimidating cousin. Unofficially, the team’s mascot is Drake.
On Wednesday night, the Raptors are honoring the infamous Canadian musician and their “global ambassador” with Drake Night, a celebration of all things that Drizzy that will include a bunch of Drake-theme swag and, more importantly, a “Hotline Bling” booth.
What the hell is a “Hotline Bling” booth? It’s a dimly lit box in which regular people can lose their inhibitions and dance like a three-year-old drunk on Go-Gurt. Or like Drake in the “Hotline Bling” video. The Raptors have set up the booth outside their arena and are inviting fans to dance inside.
Here’s a tip: If you’re in the 416 and want to do the Sneaky Fish, get down to Air Canada right now and get your dance on before the “Hotline Bling” booth becomes the “Long line Bling” booth.
