Trippy New Video Shows Why Run The Jewels Is The Coolest Rap Duo Working

They don’t even need to “Lie, Cheat, Steal” to get ahead in their new video. 

Run The Jewels is the coolest rap duo alive. Yes, that means cooler than Killer Mike’s old buddies Outkast, but honestly, you have to give up the crown if you haven’t put out a new album in nine years. Run The Jewels, on the other bejeweled hand, has released two excellent albums in the past year alone, and even inspired some really awesome Marvel comics covers. To say their on something of a roll would be an understatement. Their the most exciting thing going on in hop-hop, and they haven’t even dropped Meow The Jewels yet. 

Their new video for “Lie, Cheat, Steal,” is a trippy set-piece, where the graffiti literally jumps off the wall. Kinda fitting for Run The Jewels, a group whose music and politic don’t mind coming right at you.
