Nathan Drake Returns in the Latest ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ Trailer

Along with a bit of pillaging on Naughty Dog’s part.

Nathan Drake, famed explorer and star of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted action series on PlayStation, is embarking on his latest adventure. It’s the fourth time out in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and supposedly the end of Drake’s story, according to head of Naughty Dog Neil Druckmann. Even though the game isn’t scheduled to release until April, it’s got everyone waiting on pins and needles to give it a try.

The latest story trailer, the “best” Naughty Dog has ever put together, according to Druckmann, is a spoiler-laden look at what you can expect from the upcoming game, showing off glittering, sharp graphics and evidence as to why this PlayStation 4 title is being hailed as one of the most-anticipated games of the year.

As of yesterday, it also featured a painting in hero Nathan Drake’s room that seemed pretty familiar — concept art, it turned out, from Ubisoft’s critically-acclaimed Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The incident has since been addressed, with Naughty Dog accepting full responsibility and pulling the trailer, replacing it with the one you see below. Awkward, of course, but good on Naughty Dog for acknowledging the pilfering — Uncharted is all about thievery, after all.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
is going to be an explosive entry for the series, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
