Watch This Biker Land the First Ever Double Frontflip
After a nasty fall, Bienvenido Aguado Alba sticks it during a Swedish big air competition.
There are certain thresholds in sports that seem impossible to reach: Roger Bannister’s four-minute mile, Travis Pastrana’s double-backflip at the 2006 X Games, for instance. A young Spanish mountain biking star with the affable name Bienvenido took Pastrana’s motorized backflip and flipped it around. Helmet-cam footage that GoPro released today show Bienvenido sticking the first competition frontflip after taking a nasty fall in the previous run. It may not have the historical heft of Armstrong landing on the moon, but we applaud the breaking of any record.
