This Week In Weird Sports: Hornussen

Baseball + Golf = Bolf (aka Hornussen)

Hornussen is the Swiss sport that attempts to cross baseball and golf. A player hits a small rubber Hornuss (or rubber projectile) with a long fishing rod-esque “bat.” The other team stands in the field and try to hit the projectile with large wooden paddles. The batter only scores when no one hits it out of the air and is given bonus points for distance.
