What We’re Watching Right Now


We’re fast approaching the last Marvel blockbuster of the summer—Fantastic Four hits theaters on August 7th—and with that comes the highly anticipated final trailer. We see much of the same footage we’ve already been treated to, with a bit of backstory….and some dialogue from the Thing. (Check out Jamie Bell, who plays him, in our August issue—not covered in rocks, of course.) 

What We’re Watching Later When We’re Bored

Dwayne Johnson on SNLwas a very welcome relief from an otherwise underwhelming season, and we can revist some of the magic in this newly-released sketch that was ultimately cut for time. In it, the Rock plays a daisy in a pageant who’s feeling very, very conflicted.

Summer Tuesdays can be fairly slow for television, but we’re pretty into Comedy Central’s Downton Abbey-meets-Real Housewives Another Period (Comedy Central, 10:30 EST).
