I’m sure I wasn’t alone in checking my fantasy football score only to see my opponent kicking my ass and thinking…”Who in the fuck is Doug Martin?!? And how did he just lay 50 points on me?”
Well, posting one of the greatest games in NFL history, fantasy or otherwise, will do that. And it’s not like Martin came out of nowhere – the Bucs selected him with the 31st pick in last year’s draft after a stellar career at Boise State. But still, no expected him to rush for 250 yards and four touchdowns. And these weren’t just any touchdowns: Martin broke free for runs of 70, 63, and 45 yards.
So now you know that if you’re facing a fantasy squad with Martin on it, be afraid. Be very afraid.
