When Transformers: Dark of the Moon came out, you couldn’t help noticing the title’s similarity to Pink Floyd’s most famous album. Maybe the association didn’t hurt—Dark went on to gross more than $1.2 billion. Now the weekend’s mega-blockbuster X-Men: Days of Future Past is a stone-cold homophone for the Moody Blues’ trippy prog-rock classic Days of Future Passed. Will Days gross $1 billion? Probably. Will movie franchises start rocking classic album subtitles like these? We’ll see…
