Whether they’re superheroes or Avengers allies, we love them all. (This slideshow contains serious spoilers.)

There’s no doubt that “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is an exaggerated testosterone fest: the crew—which includes Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, and Hawkeye—only counts one woman, Natasha Romanoff (The Black Widow), in its ranks. But, Natasha is an undeniably essential asset, as are the rest of the strong female characters in the film (even if there aren’t very many of them).
