Watch the Thrilling First Trailer for ‘The Gifted’, Bryan Singer’s New X-Men TV Series

Director Bryan Singer’s latest X-Men outing, the forthcoming FOX series The Gifted, just debuted its first trailer.

The series will follow a formula that recalls themes from Singer’s original film series, widely considered the franchise’s best: Two teenage siblings, one mercilessly bullied, discover that they are mutants and find power in their supernatural abilities.

The catch is that their father, played by True Blood‘s Stephen Moyer, is a District Attorney with a reputation for putting mutants behind bars.

The beautiful Jamie Chung is also briefly featured as Blink, a purple-haired mutant with the ability to teleport. 

The Gifted will premiere on FOX this Fall. Stay tuned.
