You’ll Never Guess What The Ghost From The Ring Looks Like Now

Turns out even terrifying water ghosts can grow up to be beautiful.

When The Ring was released in 2002, it was one of the most terrifying horror movies that we’d ever seen, due in no small part to Samara. The pint-sized evil spirit lived in a haunted VHS tape, brutally killed anyone who watched it, and really could’ve used a lesson in how to brush her hair properly.

The actress who played her, Daveigh Chase, is now 24, and grew up to be completely gorgeous. Her acting credits also include Donnie Darko, Big Love, and Lilo and Stitch.

Along with being beautiful, she’s also far less terrifying when she’s not murderously crawling out of a static-filled television.
