Ben & Jerry's

Winter, spring, summer or fall, it doesn’t matter: Everyone loves to veg in front of the screen and watch some stories while stuffing our faces. We all do it at some point, alone and sometimes (preferably) in pairs.

Ben & Jerry’s, the Vermont-based ice cream maker long noted for being cleverly tapped into the pop culture moment—whenever, whatever that moment is—has finally released the perfect snack with which to add that warm wintertime layer of fat: They’ve partnered with Netflix for Netflix & Chilll’d. Yes, with three “Ls.”

Ben & Jerry’s don’t really care about your New Year’s good intentions when it comes to your waistline.

Thrillist has details on the new flavor—their taste test did not disappoint:

The new pint features peanut butter ice cream with salty pretzel swirls and gooey fudge brownies. We at Thrillist were lucky enough to try this latest flavor and can say with great enthusiasm that yes, it’s as good as it sounds. The peanut butter ice cream is nutty and subtly sweet, making it the perfect backdrop for the salty crunches found in the pretzels and the chewy, chocolaty brownie bites. You’ll eat all of it before you even realize The Witcher‘s timeline is confusing as hell.

After reading about peanut butter, pretzels, and fudge, we here at Maxim lodge a formal objection to not getting samples of our own to try, and some of us don’t even live that far from Ben & Jerry’s HQ.

But it’s all good because it’s hard to see how this particular flavor will ever end up in Ben & Jerry’s flavor graveyard, especially since streaming media isn’t going anywhere, only continually taking over every screen we own.

Netflix & Chilll’d, then, is the flavor of the future.

There’s also a non-dairy option for the lactose-intolerant. This flavor is available now at Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops and online, where it retails for $6.99.
