Ryan Reynolds Is the Proud New Owner of Small-Batch Favorite, Aviation Gin

Deadpool has exquisite taste.

Though Ryan Reynolds is no doubt busy putting the final touches on Deadpool 2 before it drops this spring, he’s still found time to buy and operate his very own brand of botanical booze. 

The Canadian actor has acquired an ownership interest in Aviation Gin, which happens be Wine Enthusiast‘s top-rated gin. 

“Aviation is the best tasting gin in the world,” Reynolds said. “Once I tried it, I knew I wanted to get involved with the company in a big way.”

The Portland-based company distills Aviation in small batches using a unique botanical mix that yields a much smoother flavor than typical London Dry gins. 

“If you think all gin tastes the same, you’d be mistaken,” Reynolds added. “Aviation is in a completely different league, and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of the company.”

If George Clooney’s founding of Casamigos taught us anything, it’s that owning your own spirit brand can be both extremely fun and insanely profitable. He sold the tequila company last year for a cool $1 billion.

There’s no telling what kind of success Aviation will see with Reynolds at the helm.
