If At First You Don’t Succeed, Fly, Fly Again

A first time drone pilot really wanted to get a close up of a high rise. He kind of succeeded.

Drones are the future. They will be as common as cars or cameras. They will clog our skies. They will zip – agile as mosquitoes – between buildings. But – as long as they are controlled by humans – they will also crash. And, sometimes, those crashes will be hilarious. Here’s proof: The man who created the work of art that is this video of a drone flying repeatedly into a window like a demented finch, had the best intentions at heart. The guy was trying to fly his new quadcopter for the first time, to get a sense of how to maneuver his new toy. Well, he’s going to want to practice some more.

It’s like that old joke: “How do you get to Carnegie Hall?” “Crash into it repeatedly.”
