This Massive Folding Bugatti TV Is Designed For ‘Exclusive Residences & Yachts’

The six-figure TV is a 137-inch home cinema that disguises itself as a piece of sculpture.

For the first well-heeled inhabitants of the upcoming Bugatti apartment tower in Dubai, the French hypercar maker’s new collaborative TV with Austria’s C SEED is the perfect big screen TV flex. Available in 110-inch and 137-inch sizes, the Bugatti N1 was created for the “most exclusive residences, yachts, and architectural projects,” and it truly subverts the notion of a traditional TV.

Even more so than the world’s most elite and meticulously crafted speaker systems, the Bugatti N1 is designed to be a display piece that ties into existing decor when not in use. It requires no mounting and features flowing surfaces, aerodynamic proportions, and integrated carbon fiber elements when folded into itself. Of particular note is the inclusion of a “C-line”—Bugatti’s signature flowing side curve that’s shaped every one of its supercars from the Veyron to the Tourbillon.

A Center Sliding Option allows the unit to pivot on its base into a central position and adapt to its location within a room. When the time comes to watch something, a silent, choreographed movement transforms the Bugatti N1 from sculpture to home cinema as precision-engineered MicroLED panels unfold over 45 seconds. The screen rotates 180 degrees with precision to the ideal viewing angle, then folds back gracefully into its base when no longer in use.

The Bugatti N1 uses next-generation MicroLED MiP technology. The company says smaller MicroLED chips reduce the visibility of non-emissive areas, producing a high black surface ratio, strong contrast and sharp images while consuming less energy and generating less heat at the screen surface.

The self-emissive MicroLED technology delivers brightness, contrast and color accuracy that the company says exceeds conventional displays, producing images with added depth, clarity and realism. An image processing system called Adaptive Gap Calibration ensures seamless panel transitions and a unified picture, while deep blacks, reduced glare, and fine detail are designed to enhance the viewing experience.

The Bugatti N1’s sound system, powered by Wisdom Audio, is designed to deliver clarity, precision and dynamic range. Built around Wisdom Audio’s planar magnetic technology, the system is engineered for coherence and sonic precision, with integrated speakers housed within the unit’s body that extend into position when in use. Like the screen, they retract into the system’s frame when not in use.

While a price wasn’t listed, C SEED’s M1—a 165-inch model that retracts into the floor—runs around $400,000, so don’t be surprised if the Bugatti N1 clocks in at $500,000 or more.
