Have the Time of Your Life in This Timepiece-Inspired Hotel Suite

Swiss watchmakers designed the hotel suite of watch-snob dreams.

It’s safe to assume the nerve center of horology, Switzerland, receives a fair share of timepiece-crazed tourists. Home to many luxury boutiques, the sleek Swiss city of Zürich is a mecca for watch snobs the world over. However, luxury-watch collecting is no poor man’s hobby, so we also assume they’ll only want to post up in the city’s plushest hotels.

Catering to five-star sensibilities, a new luxury hotel, Atlantis by Giardino, just revealed a suite designed entirely by Swiss watchmaker Hublot. The hoteliers at Giardino gave Hublot carte blanche to deck out room 107 in their new Zurich location, and the results of “Hublot 107” speak for themselves.

As expected, the suite is entirely dedicated to classic Hublot designs. The brand’s most iconic timepieces are encased in glass displays throughout the suite (you can look, but you can’t touch). The design of the suite utilizes polished aluminum, black smoked mirror panels, and walls draped in grey velvet to capture the quintessence of the brand’s timeless look. Also, be on watch for a series of pop-art paintings of Hublot’s vaunted Big Bang Range, which put the posh brand back on the map when it was released in 2005.

But as is the case in Swiss watchmaking, it’s the details that matter most. The living room features a stunning chandelier installation, whose design mimics mechanical clockwork. The rooms are particularly well appointed with custom Molteni sofas and furnishings.

It’s the perfect place to unwind and lose track of time.
