If anyone loves a parody more than Weird Al Yankovic, it’s the porn industry. With XXX-takes on everything from The Biggest Loser to The Cosby Show, it’s not entirely shocking that the newest pop culture gem to get porn-i-fied is children’s favorite, SpongeBob SquarePants. The director, Lee Roy Myers, who already has several award-winning porn parodies under his belt, has appropriately titled the film SpongeKnob SquareNuts to avoid any confusion.


And actually, just from watching the trailer, there is the real possibility of a SpongeBob novice getting confused between the two. From the looks of it, it seems like the porn stars talk in squeaky cartoon voices the entire time, there’s pretty great attention to costume and set design, and even a catchy intro song that doesn’t sound as dirty as we imagine it should.


And while novelties like this are fun to laugh at and share with friends, we have to assume that there are people actually getting off to this stuff…and that’s the most disturbing thing of all about the existence of SpongeKnob SquareNuts.
