Suite of the Week : Jonquil Suite at Cap Juluca

Smack dab in the middle of paradise.

Where is it? On Anguilla’s sparkling Maundays Bay, in exactly the part of the island you want to be on – the breezy, peaceful side.

The Hotel? The Cap Juluca is consistently rated the best hotel in Anguilla, and that was even before their recent $12 million renovation that included a reconstructed main house and the installation of over 60,000 flowering plants. The famous white-sand beaches are improved with custom chaises lounges and every bed wears Frette linens. We don’t use the term “paradise” often, but we think this is it.

The Suite? Cap Juluca’s top suite is a palace. The breezy, Mediterranean architecture allows the ocean breeze in (and out), meaning no roof in the villa ever feels far from the ocean. The décor is simple – polished local woods, textured jute and turquoise ceramics to match the sea – but sumptuous. Island elegance at its best. 

The Selling Point? Over one mile of white, sandy beach, meaning you can choose exactly where you’d like to place your umbrella.

By the numbers? 3300 square feet, 2 King bedrooms, 1 infinity pool and an overwhelming sense of peace.
