If you’ve ever been to Whole Foods, taken a good look at all those herbal supplements, and thought to yourself, “Nah, man,” I have news for you: Those weird-ass herbs can kick your sex game from a 6 all the way to a 10. Or at least an 8 if you’re lucky.

We already gave you a list of three natural supplements that will improve your sex life last year, but since three is a small number, here are five more, as outlined by the fine folks at Men’s Fitness, which I then compiled into this handy list just for you.

1. Vitamin D

According to a study conducted at Johns Hopkins University, it was found that men who were deficient in vitamin D were 32 percent more likely to have boner troubles than those who weren’t deficient.

Vitamin D is responsible for keeping the endothelial cells that line blood vessels healthy, and without enough vitamin D, those endothelial cells, which carry excess plasma around the body, can’t function properly, which means you don’t get proper circulation in your penis….or any other part of your body, for that matter.

So, when you take more Vitamin D, she can get more of your Vitamin D, if you know what I mean. Wink wink.

2. Horny Goat Weed

If you think the name of this ridiculous-sounding herb suggests it boosts libido, you’re absolutely right. Horny Goat Weed is excellent for your sex drive, as well as your dick.

This herb has been used by the Chinese for hundreds of years to treat low libido and erectile dysfunction, but if you’re looking for a Cialis-style jolt, this isn’t the stuff for you. Sorry.

However, if you want something that might make you reload the cannon a little faster and get you ready for round two in approximately 10 minutes, you might want to give some good ol’ HGW a try.

Horny goat, on his way to steal your girl.

It’s believed that the frisky herb increases testosterone production and has flavonoids that enhance nitric oxide formation, both of which lead to better and stronger stiffies. Fantastic!

3. Niacin (Vitamin B3)

According to a 2011 study published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine, niacin increases blood flow and reduces inflammation, which are two of the underlying causes of erectile dysfunction.

“Vitamin B3 is also used to make sex hormones and other important chemical-signal molecules,” explains Dr. Harry Fisch of New York Presbyterian Hospital, suggesting a dick deficient in niacin will probably only fly at half-mast. And you don’t want that. You want to fly at full mast.

To get more niacin in your diet, try eating more turkey or chicken breast, peanuts, mushrooms, liver, and grass-fed beef. Or you could take a supplement. That works too.

4. Panax Ginseng

That’s what vitality looks like.

If you’re looking for a mental boost as well as one below the belt, reach for some panax ginseng, a.k.a. Korean or red ginseng, because it will help your body with everything

Traditionally used as an aphrodisiac, stimulant, and treatment for infertility, ginseng is something you should definitely consider trying out if you need a little boost in the bedroom.

A 2013 South Korean study found that taking ginseng for a few weeks helped men last significantly longer before blowing their load, and greatly improved their performance overall. Very nice.

Another study also found that ginseng can help transform your average erection into a raging boner, improve testosterone levels, and boost your libido. Also very nice.

“Ginseng is a promising herbal therapy for ED because it helps promote relaxation of smooth muscle in the penis, increase dopamine levels in the brain, and increase pressure in the cavernosal nerves of the penis which helps nitric oxide synthesis,” says Dr. Charles Walker, an assistant professor of urology at Yale University.

5. Ginkgo Biloba

As an herb that always goes hand-in-hand with ginseng, it should be no surprise that ginkgo is also an aphrodisiac that will help you up your sex game.

Ginkgo has been used to improve blood and oxygen flow, energy levels, and concentration in Chinese medicine since forever, so you should already know it’s good stuff. I trust Chinese medicine.

Even though there isn’t much research on the connection between ginkgo and sexual health benefits in humans, a 2011 study did suggest that ginkgo biloba extract increased dopamine levels in rats and gave them hard-ons, which is cool.

And since rats and humans share 99 percent of genes (not the same thing as sharing DNA), it basically means that you, too, will experience a rush of dopamine and get hard.

Thanks, ginkgo!

Definitely make sure to use as directed and don’t just take all five at once. Best of luck to you, my dudes.
