Here’s What the Perfect Threesome Looks Like, According To Science

Turns out men and women have very different ideas of how the ideal three-way should go down.

We’ve all fantasized about having a threesome, be it with your girlfriend and her best friend, two random chicks from the bar, your brother’s ex-wife and her new husband (if you’re into that), or whatever other combo you might fantasize about.

But according to a new study published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior, men and women have a very different idea about what constitutes as the ideal threesome. So odds are you and your girlfriend aren’t on the same page about what the hottest type of three-way is.

For the study, researchers surveyed 274 Canadian college students, and asked them to rate how open they were to either a female-female-male threesome, and a male-male-female threesome, as well as how important it was for them to know the people they were metaphorically about to create a human sex sandwich with.

Analysis of the data showed that interestingly, a lot of people just aren’t into threesomes (tragic), but of the people who did express interest in doing it with two people at the same time, most were men, and they were really enthusiastic about it.

More importantly, neither men nor women were interesting in a MMF threesome, but men were super into the idea of a FFM threesome, because what’s better than having sex with a hot girl? Having sex with two hot girls, that’s what.

Also, both men and women said they’d prefer to know the people they’d have a threesome with, however, most women said they didn’t care who the third person was, as long as said person was joining in as a unicorn.
