A royal rumble erupted in Ukraine's parliament after a lawmaker handed Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk a bouquet of roses and then attempted to carry him away from the podium during a speech on Friday. All hell broke loose when the prime minister's allies rushed in to his rescue.
The Prime Minister's approval ratings have dropped to the single digits in recent months, and the lawmaker, who belongs to a rival political faction, told local media that he wants Yatsenyuk to step down.
Ukraine has been struggling to implement political and economic reforms in the wake of the 2014 revolution that ousted its former president, Viktor Yanukovych. Since then, a civil war has raged between government troops and pro-Russian militants in Eastern Ukraine, killing more than 9,000 people.
The brawl is the latest in a string of fights that have erupted in recent years on the parliament floor. You can see many of them here.
