Now, friends of the tipsy woman from the video, identified as Tracey Bolton, have spoken out in her defense. No, they did not have sex, and Bolton was simply trying to cheer up a lovesick Edmondson.

“His [friends] egged her on to tease him because he didn’t want to leave his girl. The story had to be set straight. It’s crazy,” a friend told The Sun.

Bolton actually had a significant other back home as well, and he rushed to her defense. “She’s made me look a bit of a dick but I know she was only messing about,” he told The Sun.
