Watch the Moment the U.S. Bombed the Hell Out of an ISIS Weapons Cache
Eat it, ISIS.
Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR), the international effort to squash ISIS, is going quite well if these videos are any indication.
After releasing footage of U.S.-led coalition airstrikes taking out an ISIS-controlled oil and gas plant, the Combined Joint Task Force (CJTF) on Monday released a new video of coalition jets blowing an ISIS weapons cache to hell on February 15th.
The footage purportedly shows bombs obliterating destroyed a “Daesh weapons storage facility” near Al-Bukamal. Coalition military forces conducted 10 airstrikes in Syria on that day, according to a statement.
With a tentative ceasefire between the Syrian government and rebels on the verge of bringing a pause to the country’s years-long civil war, now would be the perfect time to step up efforts to eradicate ISIS in the region. Unfortunately, Russia doesn’t see it that way:
