Watch a Robotic Dog Scare the Crap Out of a Real Dog
It’s cute and terrifying at the same time.
The newest mechanical monstrosity from Boston Dynamics has arrived, but compared to the tech company’s giant military-grade pack mule or their sprinting robotic cheetah, this medium-sized robotic dog is almost cute.
The key word being “almost,” because it is in fact a robotic dog, which is still kind of terrifying. While the video doesn’t seem to showcase anything we haven’t seen before with regards to the robot’s movement or ability to interact with it’s environment, it’s still fun to watch it go a few rounds with a real-life dog that’s completely losing its mind.
Let’s just hope they don’t give one of these things jaws and teeth.
