How Sam Tejada Is Shaping The Future Of Health And Wellness With Liquivida

Sam Tejada is a man on a mission. From a young age, he knew he wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. Tejada is the founder of Liquivida, “a wellness spa for the health conscious” offering cutting-edge services that cater to the modern wellness consumer.

But his personal and professional story began when he was just 19, when he opened his first company, Rescue-101, providing CPR, first aid, and lifeguard training courses for the American Red Cross in South Florida. Little did he know that this was just the beginning of an entrepreneurial journey that would see him become a rising leader in the healthcare industry.

It was during his service as a licensed firefighter and paramedic for the City of Oakland  Park that Sam first discovered the incredible health benefits of Nutrient IV Therapy. Through his association with Cenegenics, a global leader in age management medicine, he developed a keen interest in the alternative health options offered by holistic medicine. He attended countless seminars and was mentored by Dr. Robert D. Willix, a  board-certified cardiac surgeon who is widely recognized as a leader in preventive medicine. Sam’s two passions converged and culminated in the opening of the first Liquivida in 2013. 

Sam’s vision for Liquivida was clear. His intention was to make preventive wellness services available to the masses, not just the privileged few. Word spread quickly as Sam shared his vision in numerous publications, including the South Florida Business Journal, Good News Florida, and Entrepreneur and Franchise TimesPotential investors and strategic partnerships soon followed, taking Sam north, south,  east, and west, as he assessed the future growth opportunities and locations for Liquivida. He was able to develop strong relationships with top-notch pharmaceutical and medical aesthetic companies. 

Today, Liquivida has three flagship stores in South Florida—Lauderdale Beach,  Pembroke Pines, and Coral Springs—as well as a Telehealth division. Many independently-owned franchise locations and integrated locations are either currently operating or soon to be open in Palm Beach, Brickell, Naples, Miami, Connecticut, New Jersey, Texas, and Arizona. Brand awareness continues to increase as Liquivida expands to new markets. 

But Sam’s success isn’t just about business growth. He has achieved personal  recognition as an entrepreneur and a rising healthcare leader. His story and leadership tips have been featured in podcasts with Together CFO, named an honoree in the Healthcare category at the 2020 Apogee Awards, while features in Authority  Magazine and Forbes are forthcoming. 

Another one of Sam’s passions is bio-hacking. He recently spoke at CryoCON on the benefits of IV nutrition with cryotherapy and best practices for scaling a bio-hacking business. He also shared the stage with Dave Asprey, founder of Bulletproof Coffee, exemplifying his status as an industry leader and expert in modern wellness. 

Sam’s latest project is How to Win in Modern Wellness: Delivering Trackable Results for Impatient Consumers, a book focusing on the changing landscape of the health and wellness industry. Sam’s entrepreneurial spirit and networking prowess shine as he gathers top CEOs and industry leaders in the wellness space to share valuable insights about how businesses can deliver measurable results for today’s impatient consumers. 

And it’s not just the book making waves in the industry. Sam and Corey Jacobs, Senior Advisor to P. Diddy, are combining their considerable talents, knowledge and resources to bring Liquivida to more diverse communities and other cultures through the support of community leaders and popular entertainers.

While promoting the Liquivida brand is an obvious goal,  Sam’s ultimate objective is to bring modern day health and wellness approaches to communities that may not otherwise have access. 

When asked about his future plans, Sam’s vision for the company remains steadfast. As Liquivida continues to grow and expand its reach, Sam aims to expand the Liquivida franchise on a national and global level while appearing at speaking engagements as an industry leader/expert in modern wellness.

Sam is considering the political arena. He aspires to create legislation that would address new approaches to modern medicine, increase access to this type of healthcare, and offer increased health and wellness services for preventive purposes.
