Mercedes-Benz and Fiat continued with their SoCal drop-top debuts, showing an update to the classic SL roadster and a revival of the beloved Fiat 124 sports car. Yes, there is a good reason the Fiat strongly resembles a Mazda MX-5 Miata: it was built by Mazda on the Miata's assembly line using most of the same parts.
Scion showed a flashy concept version of an upcoming compact SUV, the C-HR, with the Kia Sportage, Mazda CX-9 and Cadillac XT5 rounding out the field of new SUV arrivals.
And there was some traditional sedans too, with the impressive new 400-horsepower twin-turbo Lincoln MKZ, Hyundai Elantra and Buick LaCrosse making their debuts.
