This Badass Devolro Diablo Truck Can Roll Through Grenade Blasts
The murdered-out machine used to be a Toyota Tundra.
It’s no wonder that the Diablo — a heavily modified and awesomely armored Toyota Tundra pickup — is Devolro‘s best-selling $199,000 four-wheel-drive pickup.
The Miami-based custom company pumps up this monstrous truck’s 5.7-liter V8 to 530 horsepower and lifts the suspension 7 inches before bolting on 800 pounds of custom-fitted grenade-resistant steel armor, massive front and rear bumpers, a stainless steel skid plate and coats it all in rugged Line-X spray-on bed liner material.
The engine’s extra oomph comes courtesy of a Toyota Racing Development supercharger and dual exhaust. Standard front and rear Warn 9,000-lb. winches ensure the Diablo can pull itself out of any pretty much any mess you might get into.
The 320-amp alternator cranks out nearly twice the juice of the stock unit, proving power for the Diablo’s rows of xenon high-intensity discharge and LED lights and train horn.
Inside, Diablo drivers enjoy luxurious leather-wrapped upholstery and a 3,000-watt sound system, which should drown out the groans of any zombie apocalypse happening outside, which you’ll obviously survive in style.
