These Are the 5 Sexiest Speedboats from the 2019 Miami Boat Show

Each year in mid-February Miami becomes the boating capital of the world during the Miami International Boat Show, “an annual can’t-miss nautical showcase known as the five biggest days in boating,” as Carl Blackwell, President of Discover Boating, the lifestyle hub for all things boating and life on the water, puts it. 

With more than 1,400 boats on display and 3.5 miles of docks hosting 100,000 attendees, “this is the venue for new boating tech and design innovations, as well as hundreds of product launches and debuts of the latest in boats, engines and marine gear from around the world,” Blackwell notes, 

The whole shebang spans 90 acres with demo docks featuring 200-plus vessels available for sea trials, meaning you can try before you buy. We checked out this year’s show in person and scoped out the five coolest boats on display, which can easily run $1 million-plus. Here’s the scoop:

1. Adrenaline Powerboats ZRX47 Carbon Series

Adrenaline Powerboats

A true work of art, Adrenaline’s ZRX47 Carbon Series features an all carbon fiber epoxy-infused build with twin Mercury racing 1100 turbo engines and comes in at 47 feet in length. Reaching top speeds of 135 mph, the ZRX47 includes fully-designed and developed in-house touchscreen controls exclusive to Adrenaline, allowing for intuitive touch screen interaction with all boat functions. A Miami boating staple and local South Florida manufacturer, Cigarette Racing Team kicked off its 50th Anniversary celebration with a trio of exquisite new creations. Powered by six Mercury Racing Verado 400R outboard engines for an eye-popping total output of 2,400 hp, the largest is the 59-ft. Tirranna, “equal parts luxury sport yacht and performance-oriented super console.” The design includes skylights created by glass panels mounted on a carbon fiber structure, LED lighting, and a Poltrona Frau leather-finished interior. It can reach a top speed of 72 mph – impressive for its 40,000 pounds. Price upon request

3. Midnight Express 60′ Pied-A-Mer
