This Is The Most Epic Used Car Ad Ever Made, And Now All We Want Is A ’96 Suzuki Vitara

We’ve all seen the honest Craigslist car ads, like this one from the Viper owner who is terrified of his own car, but we all know that images are more powerful than words.

That’s why Israeli video effects editor Eugene Romanovsky turned to the tools of his trade when it came time to part with the 1996 Suzuki Vitara SUV he calls his “best friend.” 

If there is a Clio award for used car commercials (instead of their boring regular commercial nominees) then Romanovsky should be a shoe-in for this year prize.

The video casts the Vitara in a starring role in Jurassic Park, Mad Max, the moon landings and undersea adventures, so obviously it is your perfect next car. 

If you’re sold on a ’90s Suzuki SUV, but don’t feel like traveling to Israel to fetch Romanovsky’s, the Vitara first went on sale in the U.S. in 1999, and Kelley Blue Book reports that you should expect to pay $2,150 for one in very good condition.
