The Ducati Darth Mostro is a Beautiful Blacked-Out Beast
Come to the dark side.
Back in April we slipped you the word that Thailand’s K-Speed is one to watch in the custom bike world. Now our analysis has been confirmed with their latest build based on Ducati’s iconic “naked” Monster M1100.
The blacked-out beast, dubbed the “Darth Mostro” in an homage to one of our favorite Star Wars villains, began with the stock seat and tail section being removed, exposing even more of Ducati’s delicious framework and real wheel, and making it a single-seater.
A new black leather seat was installed and the stock tank left in place. A custom asymetrical headlight was created with LED lights covered with a metal grille for a slightly Mad Max look.
Power comes from the Monster’s 1078cc L-Twin with Superbike-derived vacuum die-cast crankcases that save the bike over 6.5 lbs in weight.
And one final fact: the owner of this Thai knockout is one Montree Pornkiattichai, just in case you were wondering…
