Rule the High Seas With This $16.7 Million Porsche-Designed Superyacht
You’ll float too.
German design house Studio F. A. Porsche took the lead in styling the Dynamiq GTT 115 yacht that debuted this week at the Monaco Yacht Show.
The carbon fiber beauty aims to pack the features and feeling of a bigger yacht into its 115-foot length. And of course, Porsche’s goal was to include plenty of style.
“Taking the spirit of high-performance sports car styling to the high seas, the Dynamiq GTT 115 is designed to appeal to car lovers and forward-thinking yacht owners who appreciate the advantages of speed, style and our philosophy of intelligent performance,” said Roland Heiler, CEO of Studio F. A. Porsche.
The GTT 115 can cruise at 24 mph and has a range of more than 3,900 miles. “The launch is the culmination of a long process of design and development to introduce a new kind of superyacht to the market,” says Sergei Dobroserdov, CEO of Dynamiq.
Advanced technology and design features include a round-bilge hull form, pod-based propulsion, hull vanes and exclusively developed stabilization system with 4 fins and interceptors. And speaking of modern, it is even a hybrid, with 3 variable-speed generators powering the electric pod motors.
Electric power for the pod motors comes from a pair of 1,627-horsepower MAN V12 diesels.
“We decided to limit production to 7 units to make the GTT 115 a true collector’s item.” continued Dobroserdov. The small production run and the GTT 115’s $16.7 million base price will ensure exclusivity.
