The World’s Most Awesome Land Rovers Are Finally Coming to the U.S.
These custom Rovers are as cool as they come.
The UK’s Overfinch is virtually unknown in the U.S. but back in 1975 under the name Schuler they were the first company to customize the now iconic Land Rover Defender.
The brand, which now also amps up Range Rovers for customers who want something way beyond off-the-rack, has never entered the U.S. market, but that’s set to change this summer.
Overfinch will make their U.S. debut at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance later this month followed by the opening of a U.S. development and engineering facility and then three boutique outlets in New York, Los Angeles and Miami.
In addition to boosting performance – sometimes to a truly eye-popping degree – Overfinch adds aerodynamic modifications, carbon fiber panels and interior flourishes that would make an oligarch blush.
That covers everything from custom shotgun cases to champagne coolers, bespoke leather interiors, exotic wood veneers and even mother of pearl inlays if that’s your thing.
In other words, if you’ve got the money, honey, they’ve got the trim.
