You Need This Blacked-Out Land Cruiser Off-Road Weapon

It’ll eat your puny crossover for breakfast.

If you make killer off-road camping trailers for people to take in the deepest forest or outback, what happens if they can’t tow it that far off-road? They don’t buy your camper, that’s what. So Patriot Campers also offers the incredible LC79 Super Tourer, an unstoppable 4×4 that can tow a trailer into the bush.

These Aussies mean business, so they start with a Toyota Land Cruiser and then they stretch the frame a foot and add a cargo bed to carry tool boxes and spare tires. The team at Patriot also upgrades the suspension so you can load the LC79 down with 1,700 lbs. of cargo.

It rolls on ROH wheels with Mickey Thompson off-road rubber. The optional snorkel permits fording deep water, though don’t go too deep or your trailer might fill up and soak your bedding.

The LC79 costs the equivalent of $94,000 in Australia, so you probably can’t import one to America, and if you did, the steering wheel would be on the wrong side. Not that you have to drive on the right side of the road when that road is a two-track trail in the forest.
