Limited Edition Maserati Grecale SUVs Are Coming To America
Maserati’s latest luxury SUV features custom paint jobs and decadent interiors.
Maserati’s Fuoriserie bespoke branch is celebrating the launch of the brand new Grecale with just 325 PrimaSerie (Italian for “first edition”) models in North America.
The Italian marque just added the luxury crossover SUV to its lineup for 2022, where it resides beneath the larger Levante SUV. Count the Porsche Macan and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio among its competitors.
The top-shelf choice is the Grecale Trofeo PrimaSerie, which sports a quad-coat Giallo Corse yellow coat exclusive to Maserati Fuoriserie, 21-inch black Crio wheels, and red-gloss brake calipers. These exterior elements largely contrast with the black interior’s yellow stitch trim, carbon fiber, and PrimaSerie custom Maserati Trident badging. Power comes from Maserati’s own Nettuno V6, which is tuned to churn out 523 horses, down from the 621-hp deployment in Maserati’s MC20 supercar.
The Grecale Modena PrimaSerie arrives as a more subdued first edition, with a 325-horsepower mild-hybrid four-cylinder engine and multiple quieter colorways. A solid white Biaco Astro job is paired with a red interior, piano black trim and gloss-red brake colors, while a Blu Nobile selection wears blue on the outside and Nero black on the inside. The third Grigio Cangiante silver option is complemented by blue brake calipers and an icy gray interior trimmed in piano black.
All of the Grecale PrimaSerie models also get next-level tech amenities upgrades. The included premium plus package features sport power seats, ventilated front seats and heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel and windshield washer nozzles, as well as a Sonus Faber 21-speaker audio system, while the Techsisstance package comes with a head-up display and wireless charger, sport pedals in brushed stainless steel, three-zone climate control, and a hands-free power liftgate.
No prices were given, but the Grecale Modena and Trofeo PrimaSerie will cost more than their standard counterparts, which start at $72,900 and $102,500.
