More than 1,000 lucky guests turned out to the hottest bash of X-Games Weekend to see the Scout Bobber and enjoy specialty cocktails by Jack Daniel’s and Red Bull, beer by Summit Brewing Co. and a scorching deejay set from RL Grime.
The Bobber bears the Scout’s 100 horsepower V-twin engine and other internal features that Indian fans love. The stripped-down new look also boasts a blacked-out color scheme, knobby tires, chopped fenders, a molded leather seat and a bold, muscular aesthetic that’s sure to satisfy aficionados of badass street bikes everywhere.

Other departures from the classic Indian Scout include tighter foot pegs and handlebars for the riders, a closer construction that allows for a more streamlined riding profile.

Indian wants the Scout Bobber experience to “deliver unfiltered feedback” to riders with what the company calls a “new muscular Scout” representing a “core passion” for street bike riders—”connecting to the road without a need” for frills and extras.

In some respects the Scout Bobber is a minimalist biker’s dream come true, made with the raw and rollicking spirit you’d expect from the company whose team so thoroughly dominates Flat Track racing.

You’ll be able to find the Indian Scout Bobber at dealerships beginning in September. It comes in an array of colors with names that reflect the rough-and-tumble vibe: Bronze Smoke, Indian Motorcycle Red, Star Silver Smoke, Thunder Black, and Thunder Black Smoke.
