Olympian Aly Raisman Is Now Dating the Former Raiders Scrub Who Asked Her Out Online
Colton Underwood may be a free agent, but he’s still scoring.
Back in August, with Aly Raisman fresh off of an incredible performance in Rio, then-Oakland Raiders tight end Colton Underwood asked her out on a date. The Illinois State-grad actually had an in with the 22-year-old gymnast; his teammate at the time, Andrew East, is married to former Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson.
Now, five months later, we know that Underwood’s hail Mary was successful. He and Raisman are an item. The duo showed up together at the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year Ceremony in Brooklyn earlier this week and confirmed their relationship to People.
Raisman has been busy since the Olympics, touring the country with her fellow gymnasts and preparing for another shot at Olympic glory in 2020. Underwood, meanwhile, got dumped by the Raiders in late August. He’s remained a free agent throughout the season and now that his relationship with Raisman is public, it might be time for him to give up on his dreams of playing the NFL and focus full-time on making sure he can keep this wagon hitched to his star.
