Nate Diaz Pulled Out a Huge Joint and Derrick Lewis Sent a NSFW Message to His Wife at Wild UFC Fight Night 126

The UFC rolled into Austin on Sunday night for Fight Night 126, which saw Cowboy Cerrone knockout Yancy Medeiros in the main event. 

But the wildest combination of the night didn’t even take place during a fight. It came instead after Derrick Lewis battered Marcin Tybura, winning by a devastating third round knockout. 

During his post fight interview, Lewis went out of his way to shout out his wife April with a very NSFW message. 

“I’m going to try and rest up a little bit so I can be strong in the fourth round with (my wife),” Lewis said. 

“I’m going to knock it out of the box. To my baby, April, better get ready girl, I’m going deep.”

The UFC was clearly uncomfortable with where Lewis was going, which is likely why the camera quickly cut from him and landed on Nate Diaz in the crowd. 

But Diaz only amped up the weirdness, pulling out a massive joint and a lighter. In a moment of rare clear thinking, he didn’t spark up. 

And once again, the camera fled, landing this time on a wide shot of the Octagon. 

Neither Diaz nor Lewis is a stranger to these kind of hijinks. Diaz is the UFC’s most well-known pothead. He even brought a vape pen with CBD oil to a post-fight press conference after Conor McGregor beat him at UFC 202. 

And Lewis has made x-rated comments in the Octagon after fights before. Most famously, he called out “Ronda Rousey’s fine ass” after knocking out her now-husband Travis Browne last year.
