‘LeSnitch’ Trends After LeBron James Gets Two Pacers Fans Ejected From Game For Heckling
Skip Bayless and others branded James “LeSnitch” after the Lakers star had heckling fans ejected, and LeBron was later fined $15K for his “Big Balls” dance.
LeBron James is catching heat once again after the NBA superstar had two heckling Pacers fans ejected from a recent Lakers/Pacers game. Watch the video here:
With 2:28 left in overtime, LeBron pointed out the two offending fans sitting courtside and had them escorted out of the building.
One of the ejected fans even mocked James with a “crybaby” gesture as she was marched outside by security. The Lakers went on to defeat the Pacers 124-116 in overtime.
While it was unclear what the pair said to get kicked out, James later attributed it to “obscene gestures” and words by the Pacers fans.
Naturally, given how many NBA fans take issue with King James’ presumed on-court entitlement, Twitter was quick to respond and “LeSnitch” started trending, reports BroBible.
Here are but a few notable examples from Fox Sports 1 host Skip Bayless and others:
The incident fueled the latest on-court backlash for the NBA’s most high-profile player, following last week’s bloody on-court fracas after James elbowed Pistons center Isaiah Stewart and was ejected from the game.
In an ironic twist, the NBA revealed it was fining James $15,000 for making an “obscene gesture” after sinking a crucial three-pointer during the Lakers win over the Pacers.
After his shot clinched the Lakers’ win in overtime, pushing them to take the game with 124-116 final score, James celebrated with the signature Sam Cassell “Big Balls” celebration as he triumphantly jogged up the court.
