This Unreal Ronda Rousey Promo Looks Straight Out of ‘Rocky’

Ronda Rousey is going to be everywhere for the next month, but it’s hard to imagine she will appear in anything as intense as the latest UFC promo for her upcoming fight against Amanda Nunes. The three-minute clip takes us inside Ronda’s Hollywood Hills home as she grapples with the doubters speculating about her return to the UFC. And then she turns them off, retreating to the gym for a training montage straight out of Rocky. 

In other Rousey news, she stopped by Conan last night to show off her guns and talk a little trash to Nunes. Last month the UFC women’s bantamweight champ said she doesn’t think the fight on December 30 is going to last very long. “I think she is going to be quick,” Nunes said. “First round.”

Rousey did not take too kindly to this. “Yeah, well she kind of has to say that, because everyone knows she gasses out in the second,” she told Conan. “So she has to tell herself that, ‘It’s gonna happen first round.’ What else is she gonna tell herself?”

Despite her appearance on Conan last night, Rousey said she will not be doing every interview requested of her before the fight in Vegas. It’s all a part of her plan to take better care of her mental health, which is in much better shape after a World of Warcraft session than an interview on ESPN. Really, she loves WoW.
