Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa Got Lots of Love From Fifth Harmony’s Dinah Jane

Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa put forth a valiant effort to win the college National Championship for Alabama. It didn’t go unnoticed.  

As TMZ notes, the overnight star received high praise following his heroic performance from Fifth Harmony hottie Dinah Jane. 

“Wow!!!! The turnover was crazy to watch 😱😱 had everybody’s jaw dropped!” she tweeted. “Congrats @Tuaamann_ way to come through with the win man !!! Love seeing polys on the rise ✊🏽 leggooo xx.”  

Both are of Polynesian descent, but still—it’s not everyday a college football player gets props from huge pop star.

Mentions of Tagovailoa surged on Twitter. Longtime sports broadcaster Rich Eisen even compared the 19-year-old athlete to Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. 

UFC champ Max Holloway, ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer and former ‘Bama running back Mark Ingram also paid compliments to Tagovailoa. 

Everyone’s going to be watching this kid come Fall.
