UFC 285 Trailer Teases Jon Jones Vs. Ciryl Gane Heavyweight Championship Fight

The UFC GOAT makes his heavyweight debut after two years away from the Octagon.

Former light-heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones is finally making his long-awaited heavyweight debut to face Ciryl Gane for the vacant championship belt at UFC 285.

Jones, who last defended his light-heavyweight strap against Dominick Reyes in February 2020, has bulked up in weight to face Gane in a clash that will crown the new UFC heavyweight champ. Former titleholder Francis Ngannou recently left the promotion after a contractual dispute stemming from his desire to compete in a lucrative boxing superfight.

While UFC 285 is built around the return of Jones–whom UFC commentator Joe Rogan calls “the greatest of all time” in the beginning of the trailer– it also features a co-main event flyweight title fight between champion Valentina Shevchenko¬†and Alexa Grasso.

UFC 285 takes place on March 4 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and airs exclusively on ESPN+ pay-per-view. Get hyped for fight night by watching the trailer above.
