UFC 329 Fight Trailer: Conor McGregor Returns For Highly Anticipated Rematch Against Max Holloway
The July 11 fight card on Paramount+ features McGregor vs. Holloway 2, Pimblett vs. Saint Denis, and the UFC debut of Olympic champion Gable Steveson.

Former two-division champion Conor McGregor returns to the Octagon after a five-year hiatus to face former featherweight titleholder Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 329.
The heavily anticipated rematch, 13 years in the making, headlines a stacked card broadcasting live on Saturday, July 11, from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The fight will stream exclusively on Paramount+, with the main card beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Preliminary bouts start at 7 p.m. ET, following early prelims at 5 p.m. ET.
McGregor (22-6)—who is widely considered to be the biggest star in UFC history—looks to repeat his past success against Holloway (27-9), who aims to even the score following recent high-profile victories, including his stunning, last-second knockout of current lightweight champ Justin Gaethje in 2024 before Gaethje’s stoppage of Ilia Topuria at UFC Freedom 250.
“Every second of my waking life is combat sport,” McGregor says in the UFC 329 fight trailer. “I live for it. I own it. There is no fight like a McGregor fight.” Holloway, the Hawaiian brawler who ranks among the UFC’s most popular fighters, later declares in the hype clip: “You know when I get into a fight, it’s gonna be a fight.” While Holloway enters the fight as a considerable betting favorite due to McGregor’s Octagon inactivity, “The Notorious” dominated him in a unanimous decision victory when they first fought back in 2013.
The fight week festivities kick off July 10 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS with a live, one-hour primetime special, This is UFC: McGregor vs. Holloway. The broadcast features a first-of-its-kind live weigh-in with the headliners and co-main event competitor Paddy Pimblett. In that co-main event, No. 5-ranked lightweight contender Benoit Saint Denis (17-3, 1NC) puts his four-fight win streak on the line against No. 6-ranked Pimblett (23-4), the charismatic English star who has offered to fight McGregor at Madison Square Garden should they both win.
The card also features former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker moving up to light heavyweight against Nikita Krylov and the UFC debut of freestyle wrestling Olympic gold medalist (and Jon Jones protégé) Gable Steveson, who faces heavyweight Elisha Ellison.
