The latest variation of the Rod Laver, the classic silhouette Adidas that was re-introduced in 2014, is refreshingly light on its feet.

The tennis sneaker's upper has now been outfitted with Primeknit, a cutting-edge material that makes this iteration of the Rod Laver the lightest ever.

Adidas has been going nuts with this proprietary material, previously incorporating Primeknit in variations of the Stan Smith and Superstar, making the Rod Laver version only inevitable.

Adidas recently dropped a bonkers Rod Laver that was dipped in actual gold, but this time, the company decided to keep things simple. This version is available in two navy blue and white colors.

The Primeknit Rod Laver will hit Adidas Originals stores on Aug. 5.
