We heartily approve of the blacked-out timepieces famed Swiss watchmaker Breitling has been experimenting with lately.

So we’re making some space in the watch box for its latest trio of luxuriously stealthy instruments that of course can also stand up to anything life throws your way.

The Breitling Navitimer 46 Blacksteel is a super exclusive version of the world’s longest continuously produced chronograph, distinguished by an all-black exterior, two-counter dial, black oscillating weight and a new rubber strap featuring an aircraft tire-tread pattern.

The Breitling Colt Chronograph Automatic Blacksteel is another heavyweight knockout with a large screw-locked crown fitted with protective reinforcements, and a military-inspired unidirectional rotating bezel.

And lastly the Breitling Avenger II Seawolf Blacksteel is water-resistant to the impressive depth of 10,000 feet and comes in a 1,000-piece limited series with a blacksteel case and yellow dial.

Kind of makes your stainless steel watch look a little too shiny, no?
